Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Nicole Boahene Asomah, and I am a Senior Account Executive at The Flywheelers. Gosh, it’s always so difficult talking about yourself isn’t it? I love trying out new food from different cultures, and I am addicted to watching documentaries!
Where were you before The Flywheelers?
I worked in a few different places before I joined The Flywheelers. I was previously working in an insurance company, focusing on corporate communications. Before that I worked at the NHS working across a range of communications areas – including digital, internal and stakeholder comms. Before that I worked at a university in a graduate communications role. I have been able to gain a lot of knowledge and experience that I’m really excited to use at The Flywheelers.
What’s your ultimate career highlight?
In my previous role, I led on a campaign to launch Gender Pay and Ethnicity Pay Gap report. The report was significant as it was the first time that that the company were publishing their ethnicity pay gap data.

I managed different aspects of the campaign from writing the press release, liaising with the design agency, writing social media content and working with colleagues across the business to create content for the report. It was a great campaign to work on because I was able to work on different areas to help publicise the report, but I was also able to learn about time management and working with different teams when working on a large campaign.
What non-comms skill(s) are you bringing to The Flywheelers?
I love learning new things, and I think that’s always a great thing when stepping into a new role. My curiosity is useful for understanding our clients at The Flywheelers and the wider tech industry, so it’s a really important way for me to do my job effectively.
I also know a large amount of general knowledge, so I’ll be really useful in a pub quiz!
What are you most excited about joining the Flywheelers?
My career so far has been in-house, so I am really excited to join The Flywheelers to see what agency life is all about! Tech is an ever changing industry, so it’ll be really fun working with different companies to bring their stories to life. I’m really excited to see how much I can grow and learn at The Flywheeler’s working alongside an amazing team!
